Dr. Quadri Noorulhasan Naveed is a seasoned academic and researcher with over 16 years of teaching and professional experience in computer science and information technology. Currently affiliated with the Department of Computer Science, College of Computer Science at King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia, he has also held technical roles with leading organizations including Saudi Aramco and Riyad Bank.

He holds a Ph.D. from the College of Information and Communication Technologies, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM, Malaysia). He holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in computer science from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Dr. BAMU), India.

Dr. Naveed has an extensive research portfolio, with 84 published papers including 54 SCI/SSCI-indexed journal articles, and 30 papers in other indexed journals and prestigious international conferences (IEEE, ACM, Springer, Scopus). He is also a contributor to patents and maintains active research collaborations with international scholars from reputable institutions. His research has garnered significant international recognition, leading to his inclusion in the Stanford/Elsevier List of the World’s Top 2% Most-Cited Scientists (2025), as ranked by citation impact using Scopus data.

He has delivered keynote speeches, guest lectures, and conducted research seminars and workshops globally. He serves as a reviewer, guest editor, and associate editor for various international journals. Passionate about student development, Dr. Naveed is actively involved in student counseling, community services, and promotes research-led education.
